Migrant Education Announcements ![]() Saturday SchoolThe Saturday School Program is now in progress at the Heber School site. This program provides students with help, support, and practice for the local and state level Migrant Student Speech and Debate Contest. In addition, any student who needs additonal help, support and tutoring is also encouraged to participate. Heber School teachers and Migrant staff provide the support and tutoring, to ensure an effective program for Migrant students to succeed.
The class is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in room 118 at Heber School. 2012-2013 PAC meeting datesHere are the dates for Migrant parent meetings for the 2012-13 school year. Please mark you calendar and plan to attend.

![]() BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL TUTORINGBefore and after school tutoring classes for Migrant students are held at both Dogwood and Heber School sites. Before school class will be held from 7:00 to 8:00, and after school will be held from 3:00 to 4:00. Breakfast is available in the morning and snacks will be provided in the afternoon.
There is no transportation provided. Students will need to be brought to school at 7:00 AM for the morning class and be picked up at 4:00 PM if they stay for the after school class. Please be sure your child takes advantage of this opportunity. Computer assisted instruction, homework support, and Reading Counts books are all availble for Migrant students. Heber and Dogwood teachers provide the instruction and tutoring. Files
